Well - I'm happy to announce that the new CPanel theme is [i:ec2aca2b8b]almost[/i:ec2aca2b8b] complete. I have finished making all the changes, and the only thing left is to have some user feedback :)
EDIT: Link removed now, as the theme has been finished :)
Take a good look round, play with everything you can see, and report back :)
If you notice anything strange, or have any suggestions, please post here, or email me (craig.luke@kualo.com). If you are on MSN Messenger, you can also chat to me direct using that address.
Enjoy!

Excellent - good work :)
One thing: should "GPG Keys" actually be "PGP Keys"?
:!: :!: Wow Craig - awesome job :!: :!: 8)
-Nice new icons!
-Like where you placed the "installed perl modules".
-Server monitor addition is very cool! (Ummm, I see Jim's nice little script in there too!)
-The [main/logout/back] navigation on the left in the child pages is a really nice addition!
Just curious, why did you choose to place the "Easy Install Programs" and "Scripts" on child pages instead of the main page?
Overall - a beautiful, clean, very organized, thorough job! :)
I'll have to add my offer to the list.....I'd like to buy you a drink in Santa Monica, California! :D

Well if you do a search you will find that the wines in the Okanagan region have won gold medal awards at international wine festivals quite regularily in many categories. Red, white and we even produce some very nice ice wine. (Eiswine, I believe in Germany). My personal favorite.
But I drink maybe one or two glasses a year. Anniversary and New Years.

Ohhh! You like the sweet stuff! We drink the heavy reds in this house....merlot, zinfandel (note...NOT white zin) and cabernet. We are particularly fond of a few Australian selections. :D
Excellent Work Craig! :D
Love it - it is very user friendly and full of all the great features! Thanks so much for all your time and effort.
PS If you are ever near Paw Paw, Michigan, give a holler and I'll see that you get bottles of our very own Gold Medal recipients - St. Julian's Solera Cream Sherry and St. Julian Blue Heron! :)
Craig, you're going to be off your face after all this free alcohol! Congratulations I think we have a happy bunch! :)
We'll get this zipped up and ready for you all shortly.
Best,
Jo

Hi again,
Glad you all like it... I'll finalise now, and then zip it all up :)
It will be released in versions, so I can easily get new updates to you all, as and when it is improved.
As for all the drinks - sounds good to me ;) I'll open the door to any postman bearing bottles of this and that :D It sounds like I need to bring forward my plans for seeing the world :)

Thats what I thought originally :) As far as I gather, GPG is the free version of PGP - made by all those nice programmers who like things to be open-source etc... :)
Anyway - I'll look through all the pages again tonight, and then I'll release it - as you've all been so complimentary ;)

Realize that the /var is just a partition where system stuff is stored. Keeping it near max usage allows more space to be in a place where it is important...where you can use it ;)
Notice the /home partition is only at 18 %. That's good ;)
At any rate. I like the skin. Comes across as nice looking at quite useful. Great work!
hey Craig,
I know we'll all find this out soon enough, but did you use any type of template or css for the headers?

Hi Christina,
Well - I'll be writing a brief list of instructions before it goes out, but i'll detail briefly what I've done...
The header is done using includes from a number of files. There is header1, and header2. Header2 exists in a number of formats. All of these are the same, just with the last line with or without colspan="2", depending on the page that is being called. There is also a header for files in a 2nd level directory, such as /install/. So, if you are customising, you can just copy and paste your code into these, with some small alterations to each. Then, these settings are applied throughout the rest of the site.
The same applies to the left hand bar. There is an include file for all left hand section for the index page, and then another for all the other pages.
All pages are controlled by two CSS files. Both of these should be kept the same.
Hope this helps :) I'll try and be more descriptive in the actual notes :D
Fabulous! Thanks Craig....didn't really expect you to go into all that detail! Looking forward to seeing it all! :D
Very nice work Craig, [b:999e94722d]thanks very very much[/b:999e94722d]! :D

I may be a little late. But here are my opinions.
I really really like it.
Its a very clean design, and that is nice. The colors are well done, soft enough on the eyes, but noticeable. The icons are professional and clean aswell.
Overall very well done.

Well - thank you all very much :)
I'll give Jo the credit for the icons though :) He made them up, which was a great help.
It should be available soon (yep - I know I keep saying this!!) for download, so you can configure it. I've been waiting for some bugs to be fixed. This would appear to have been done now, so it shouldn't be too long.
superb work craig.. well done 8)
