Hi CK, Well I would say that I am a combination of all of these to a greater or lesser degree, with no real priority. I just try to provide, whoever I am dealing with and whatever the project, the best service. :D

hosting is a secondary part of my business :) almost a hobby :)
Hi!
I'm a photographer by profession and I recently (last 2.5 years) started web design and since my customers needed hosting.....well, one thing leads to another!
I'm totally new to this end of it though and looks like I have a lot to learn so I hope you will all be patient with me!
Hello to HAL! We "met" on the webhostingtalk forum.

Hi Christina, Welcome to Kualo and yes I remember you on WHT. You'll find the support and general help here excellent. Well I never, I'm a photographer also and I became interested in web hosting for similar reasons. I have quite a few friends in the industry but maily in Australia. I have been reselling hosting services since July 1st 2000 but only with Kualo recently. It is an interesting and enjoyable business. Some things are new to me also so I'm learning too. It's really an on going process. The internet is continually expanding so there will alwys be room for suppliers as the web grows. We are really only at the edge of this incredible technology. I hope you enjoy your stay as I am. :D

Really? Cool! What type of photography? I've added digital in the last year, dropped weddings, still doing portraits and added a bit of commercial (small scale, for the web mostly)

Are you from/in Australia? (In your hermetically sealed room? ) I'm in Santa Monica, CA (Los Angeles county)

I think it was you on the other board who said he was reselling through other companies as well? This type of reselling is new to me...the bulk account idea, with the WHM and all the control.

I need to learn Unix amoung other things.....oddly enough, I get exited about this stuff!
Well....I'm really glad to meet one of my own HAL! I seem to be a strange breed in these parts. I know a few web designers and a lot of photographers, but no mixtures. It'll be good to have someone to swap stories/commiserate with!
Hi, Yes live in Australia, Adelaide, South Australia. A city of just over a million people. Photography wise, I have been involved in several areas including Portrait, Landscape and Product. The past couple of years I have also been involved with the motorcycle scene, photographing Superbike racing. I gave up weddings years ago...too much stress dealing with newly weds. I love the older cameras such as Rolleiflex Twin lens etc. I have a digital canon compact but I only use this for snaps etc. and for Ebay. I have been to the USA but only the East Coast. I have friends in Collingswood in New Jersey. :D
HAL :D
Oh don't mention motorbikes. Both my parents are heavily into motorbikes and have about five between them! Although I do have 4 nephews and nieces who are enchanted by the fact that granny and grandad are (and I quote) "cool biker dudes!". I suppose its better than getting the knitting needles out just yet! :)
Hi All. I love motorcycles. Have ridden them most of my life. I am now "over the hill" so it's been a long time ;) :) Are any other Kualo members as addicted to these forums as I am. I now have 5 forums loaded at any one time. Pretty hard to keep track of it all. :) :D
HAL
Geez....so many things in common!
Been riding dirt bikes since I was about 9, my dad promotes enduro's in the Denver area, all the men in my family ride (including gramps) one or another type of bike as well as some of the girls! When I put my site up you'll see a b&w photograph of my mom and her husband with "pearl" a white Harley. Unfortunately the hubby doesn't ride, so I sold my last bike 3 years ago and we bought mountain bikes (something we could do together). Really miss riding, but you couldn't pay me to ride here in the Los Angeles area.....freakin' wacko drivers!
Hal, I think it would be really exiting to photograph superbike! My nephew (9yoa) just had his first race in Denver. He's pretty cool on that thing.
My digital camera is the Canon d30, I sold all my medium format Mamiya stuff just this last year, still have a Canon EOS 630 - it's a workhorse!
I know Collingswood...used to live in and around Atlantic City, NJ....glad to be out here in the sunshine now!
:D
