Hello everyone
I've just signed up as a reseller (frustrated ex-Architec customer) and wanted to say hello!
My name is Nico, I work in Web Analytics for Clickstream.com and most of the accounts I resell are to friends and family rather than as a commercial venture.
Anyway, I can't seem to find any recommendations of places to register domains. I used to do this through my host... I would need access to UK registrations as well as US and international ones. Any ideas?

Hello Nico! Welcome to Kualo :D
I haven't had any problems with Dotster (http://www.dotster.com) and Namecheap (http://www.namecheap.com). For UK registrations most people seem to recommend 123-Reg (http://123-reg.co.uk/)

Thanks Navin
1-2-3-reg does seem to be quite reasonable. I wonder if I could ask someone who has used them to confirm something for me: Once I have registered a domain name, do I ust go in and change the nameservers to point at my resellers account? Does this mean that I have control over mail forwarding or 1-2-3-reg?
TIA

I have used them. Yes all you would do is point the domain to your reseller account nameservers and this would remove all mail control over to you, and away from 123reg.

Hello Nico,
A big western Canadian welcome to you. Glad to have you as part of our ever growing community.
Dennis
I currently use onlinenic.com and very appreciated up to now. The cheapest registration service.
I pay just 6.99 per registration.
Hi Nico!
Welcome! :D
I use 000domains (http://www.000domains.com), godaddy (www.godaddy.com) and namecheap (http://www.namecheap.com)
I've used 000domains the longest - always pleased with them, godaddy is cheaper, namecheap is the cheapest, offers the most and is the newest of the three to the market.
:) Christina

Thank you very much all of you - I feel at home already!
Perhaps a list of these would make a good KB entry?
