Well if the snowflakes floating across my screen are the only ones I see this year that will be just fine with me.

:tinyxmastree:

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

:simponsanta:

Wishing you all a Happy and SAFE holiday.

We've got snow here in Maryland. We're supposed to get up to 10 inches. The storm is coming from the south, heading north, and coming your way, DPerley 8)

Well, I KNOW that if I am going to see any snow I'll have to head to Colorado or perhaps to Mammoth Mountain (CA)! But the snowflakes across my screen are quite nice! :xmas:

Merry Christmas & Happy Chanukah to all!

Well hopefully if it does arrive it will be for Christmas day and then disappear. I can live with that. I'm hoping to be in Vegas in January. Believe it or not when we went there one February it snowed west of Vegas when we went out to Red Rock Canyon for a drive for the day.

I couldn't believe it. I went all that way to get away from snow and it followed me. Unreal! So you can keep it down there for now. :D

Hey Dennis - if you have some time to come west it would be great to have a drink and say hello! :D We're only about 6 hours from Vegas!

6 hours west of Vegas puts you somewhere in the ocean I think, lol

how about we meet halfway.

oh damn....you are correct! 6 hourse would put you in the ocean...unless you drive like a little old lady!

umm....halfway - you mean Barstow for a burger "animal style" at the In & Out?!

So how is it that you're so familiar with driving times in this area?

If I "find" some money in Vegas it's probably from the last time I was there. Or the time before. Anyway, we booked our hotel rooms today. I got a good deal at the Imperial Palace. Two nights for $32 US. Plus we get a free buffet each, plus lots of other goodies. The other two nights we will be in a downtown hotel. Two days on the strip will be enough.

Happy Birthday Mark! I'm right behind you - turning 37 on 12/26!

I'm just bummed that I never seem to get a birthday party with all the other holiday parties happening around that time.

However, my family has always been good about separating the gifts!

So you celebrate your "half" birthday? That's a good idea....my hubbys b-day is in July, so we always have a big bbq - at least 40 people!
