At that time i was typed forum.kulao.com on another window and hav seen snow effect and immediately thought
"AAAAhhhh, VIRUS?" Then i told myself "Norton, ZoneAlarm i hate you both"
:o Then i imeiately look into source of forum, then seen snow effect.

Get your winter tires out CK. In a couple of weeks we are going to have a blizzard!

Snowing in Istanbul is very rare natural thing, however 2 days ago it snowed and i am at home for about 2 days...
BTW, for a long time, years and years, i have never seen snowing on Dec 31~Jan1 I do not expect this year also. We see snowing just once or twice a year and in general in February or March.
In contrary, in Esk. where my relatives live (I was there in last weekend, during religious holiday) it snows very often. Ice on roads is common... I just heard in TV, "Temp is getting lower, snowing is coming" then i immediately come back to Istanbul although i plan to stay there for 2 days more.

Well, we got some rain today in town if you can believe it. That should mean snow on the ski slopes. I'm told we have some excellent skiing in these parts. We have two major resorts within an hour of town in either direction. We get tourists from all over Canada the US and Australia too!

http://www.skisilverstar.com
Hopefully they will get all of the snow.

Well those are the ones I know of that frequent the slopes on a regular basis. Brits are welcome, especially you Jo!

You can also rent them,

Wow! Do you know what you can buy out here for 266,853.69 (nothing like being exact there Dennis!) - an outhouse!

Well it's $415000 more than I have. (Unless I win the lottery tonight). But I wouldn't spend it on that. I'd rather get a share in the hotel at the Silver Star resort. For about $150000 CA (go to http://www.xe.com to do the conversion) you can buy a share in the hotel and get 28 days access for when you want to go skiing or use as a summer retreat.
Dennis
$96,356.64 USD
hmmm...must be a pretty nice hotel! :money:
nice conversion site btw...thanks!

Your welcome. If you follow their lengthy instructions you can install it on your site if you need one. I think it's one of the most popular currency conversion sites and the url is easy to remember. Just be careful in using thier spinning logo thing. They are pretty strict with that.
The other nice thing about investing in the hotel is you share in the revenue generated there. That is why the cost is much like buying your own cottage. Plus you wouldn't use a cottage much more than 28 days of the year anyway or a time share or a motorhome etc.
Sheeesh you'd think I was trying to sell one.
Dennis
....share in the revenue eh? That is much better than a time share!
Is there an echo in here?!? .....ooooops!
ummmm, ok....wanna remove this junk too?!
