I seen an advert on t.v. the other night where a guy got a new Porche from his wife.
That would work for me!
Or
Peace and goodwill throughout the world!

Sorry! You can always exchange it for a BMW or a Bentley!
In no particular order:
[list:51ae07c42b]World Peace
An acceptance letter from the Art Center
A Jaguar (what?! this is a wish list right?)
Quiet time with my hubby in front of a sparkling Christmas tree & roaring fire
To get settled in a new home in Pasadena
Safe passage for all who are traveling throughout the holidays
Health, happiness and prosperity for all my fellow Kualoites![/list:u:51ae07c42b] :D :tinyxmastree: :home: :money: :inlove: :icon7: :answer:

I don't look back! hehe
lol... didn't mean it quite that way.....
The hubby is a HUGE zeppelin fan, but prefers porches to Jags or a 57-60 Roadster Corvette....I'm ok with that though!

I'm also a nut about old T-Birds. I owned a '69 once. In my opinion that was the last year they made a decent one. After that they just got to be ugly boats that had no unique identity anymore.
Muscle cars from the '60's I love too. Like the Super BEE!!!
:D
ooooh the super bee.....very cool! My brother has a '73 green Dodge Challenger! He had been working on it for the last 2 years - it's beautiful.
Well, being I just got notified that my job is being eliminated, what I'd most like for the holidays is a new one after the first of the year. :? (The cats *must* be kept in kitty litter and cat food, after all!)
Beyond that, peace and a better economy for the world. (And a winning lottery ticket might be nice, but ....)

Well then I wish for Lila to get a better job than the last one.
Keep your spirits up. I know it's easier to say than do but I can assure you I have had my share of downs and do know something of what you must be going through. :(
All the best to you and your cats. :)
Dennis
Thanks Dennis... much appreciated. :D
I figure I'm tougher and ornerier than they were, so something will come up.

No problemo, us Kualoites have to stick together. :D
I don't know anyone in D.C. that I could refer you to for a job but maybe one of our members does???
Come on Santa, :simponsanta: make sure Lila gets a brand new job better than the last one ok? :xmas:
[b:1426b752c5]I'll give up my wishes for Lila too! [/b:1426b752c5] Did you hear that Santa? Find Lila a great new job and help her take care of her kitties!
Don't the little fur balls just run our lives? We just had the hardest time finding a place to live because of having our one little seven pound - declawed - fixed - never ever goes outside of the box - never damages anything - sweet as they come - kitty! But she is sooo worth it!
.....hey....look at that.....300 posts! Dang am I a gabby girl or what?!
KualoDennis
2002-12-21, 23:50
and gulp I have 302, I missed my 300th!
The race is on to 500, ready set gooooooooooooooooooo!
Ok, back to the issue at hand. We have two cats (must admit I'm not a cat fancier) but now that we have them........
yes it is hard to get a place to rent even when you buy if you get into some sort of place with lots of rules (what we call stratas) it can be very difficult if you have pets or even kids,
 :?
Well, when I was relocating from Minneapolis, Minnesota to the Washington DC area, my search for a place to live was based on: "Do you take cats?" then "how much is it?" Took some searching but I managed.
Brought my babies 1200 miles, and believe me they are worth every bit of hassle it took. (Though let me tell you, the drive--with two partially sedated cats--was *interesting*. But they have stayed in a Marriott and a Hilton.... not all cats get to do that!) :D
Thanks to all for the good wishes... nothing is brewing for jobs with the holidays upon us, but after the first of the year.... (anyone looking for good IT security person?) 8)
~Lila
My babies came with me from New Jersey to California in my little Prelude about 8 years ago now - they too stayed in a Marriott and a Red Roof Inn I think!
These are my girls Maxine and Samantha (left to right), who made the cross-country trip with me. Maxine passed on about 3 years ago.

This is my boy Jack, who died just this past October.....

As you can see, we're a bit partial to tabbies!
Our plan right now...we move into our new apartment 12/27 - 12/30 and we get a new baby on 1/2/03 (because the shelter isn't open on New Years Day). If I have my way we'll be down there on 12/30!
Christina, it has to be said, those are some FANTASTIC photos. Well done :D
What gorgeous babies you have!
Pet them for me! :D
Thanks Jo....its easy to take a good photo when the subject is beautiful!
Lila.....Sammy says "prrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr"
