Email Size Limitations & Domain Pointers

I am going to find a new host since I am totally disgusted with my current situation (a "REFUGEE" by your definition.) After much looking the last several days, I stumbled across your organization and see quite a bit that peaks my interest. Here is one question for clarification and one I for which I couldn't readily find an answer:

1) I noticed you offer "unlimited domain pointers." Does this allow each site/client under a resellers plan to point/park domains to their main domain (and subdomains.)

2) Do you have any limitations on email size (let's say I have a client that needs to occasionally send and receive attachments 6mg - 10mg in size.)

Thanks

Oh, I just thought of one other:
About the "uptime guarantee," what does the word guarantee mean...if you do not attain the guarantee 99+% and I decide to move elsewhere, can I be afforded some kind of refund even if it is outside the 30 day window "money back guarantee." (That is my situation right now...I have a host trying to offer more free disk space and bandwidth which means absolutely nothing if the service is down for frequent and unnecessarily extensive periods of time.)

Edit - I should mention that I plan on paying annually...so the refund would be for future months prepaid in this instance...I am aware of your credit policy if not met in the current month.

Certainly very glad to hear it - thank you for your interest in Kualo! I have detailed responses to your questions below:

Yes, it does. You can actually set the limit on each account you create under your reseller account, so for example you could limit certain accounts to say 5 parked domains, others to unlimited, and charge accordingly.

There are currently no limits on this. At present the only limit we impose is that email accounts can only be checked 70 times per hour, which should be more than enough. Obviously if you were to start receiving many many emails 6-10MB in size and were frequently tying up the mailserver, then this could be considered to be exceeding the restraints of the shared server environment. We've not had to do that before however, and from the sound of things that would not be the case in this instance.

Sorry to hear about your troubles with your previous host. We detail the specifics of our uptime guarantee here in our service level agreement - http://www.kualo.com/policies/sla.php.

I hope that clears up your questions, if you think of any more please don't hesitate to get in touch.

I hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you to Kualo shortly!

Best regards,

Jo Stonehouse

Thanks everyone!

I can already tell this is going to be a much more professional & "peaceful" relationship. My new nameservers have been created through my current registrar and have propagated. I have one small site already up and running and have changed all the rest of my domains to my new nameservers and am just waiting for this change to propagate.

Everything is going well, and THANKS AGAIN!
Wayne
