Good un that. reminds of a few tech support requests?? I have heard about

(1) An engineer was called out on an expensive callout to demonstrate the use of the monitor on/off switch!

(2) Another engineer asks a client on their premises to switch on the light so that he can look inside the machine, only to be told that the mains power is off <-- a common one that

Plus most probably loads more!

I think everyone has heard this but yours reminded me of it.

1. Helpdesk phone in request - The manual says to press any key but I can't find the "ANY" key on my keyboard,

2. Also phone in to a helpdesk - I think I've broken my cup holder.
(Tech) Your cup holder? Yeah the thing that slides out with the hole in the middle to hold your coffee cup.

3. And another one - My foot switch doesn't seem to work. (Tech) Your foot switch? Yeah the little two button switch with the cord on it. It doesn't seem to turn the computer on or off. (mouse in case you didn't get it).

I'm just going by memory but you get the idea,

I f I remember correctly someone lost their job over that one. They told the customer to box up the computer and send it back to where they got it from.
'What shall I tell them' asked the client
'tell them you're too ****ing stupid to own a computer!'

The lad of the lug lobbers!!??!!

Well some of us, at least 1 million, sane(ish) people go sea fishing from either the rocks/beach/pier or boat. And one of the baits we use is called LUGWORM. I also run a site, when it gets up and running again, called "The Lug Lobbing Louts". Where there is a message forum that is run of PHPbb with MySQL for storage!

Hence the sig line! Hope that is clear(ish) for you
